Tina (Clemmons) Loftus, CCT

Owner/Founder of De Novo Scan, LLC

Certified Clinical Thermographer

Bachelor of Science Degree, Dietetics

Tina has always had an interest in the health industry in several capacities. Being around her grandparents' Kentucky farm for most of her childhood played a large role in her interest in nutrition and how food affects our body's health. She went on to school to become a Registered Dietitian.

While working in a hospital and a couple of nursing homes, she decided that that kind of medical environment wasn't playing to her heartstrings.

After a decision to take a break, she moved from Kentucky to California taking time to decide what she really wanted to do. She spent a couple of years as an golf tournament coordinator for The Pepsi Tour then decided it was time to get back to health sciences.  She turned down an opportunity in pharmaceutical sales with a very large company because it "just didn't feel right" and soon thereafter became Vice President of Sales with a major holding company financing upwards of $30M a year in various medical imaging equipment packages for doctors, medical practices, hospitals, etc.  "It was a great career for over 10 years but after the financial downfall of 2008 and finally burning out, she was once again looking for that "thing" that would feel rewarding.

After searching and researching, she discovered Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging and after a year's worth of research and investigation she jumped at the opportunity and opened De Novo Scan, LLC in 2012 and she's never looked back. "After twelve great years (so far), I know it is truly what I'm supposed to being doing.  Every day I am honored to be able to help those seeking health screening through thermal imaging."  says Clemmons.

Combining her studies in sciences like anatomy, physiology, microbiology & biochemistry, nutrition and food with her experience in working with providers and healthcare facilities including all types of imaging modalities, she understands what is good and what is bad for our bodies and will assist you in working through the recommendations provided by your thermal imaging results. She is dedicated to helping you feel your very best.

Tina says, "Here's to PREVENTION in all ways!  I look forward to getting to know you both personally and physiologically and to help you along your path to optimal health!!"

Natural Health Expert

Reading Doctor for De Novo Scan

Popular TV and Radio Guest

Radio Show Host

Dr. Horner's five year crusade-the Breast Reconstruction Advocacy Project or BRA Project-led to the passage of laws in thirty-five states and a federal law. The federal bill-The Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act-was signed into law by President Clinton on October 21, 1998. The law was unprecedented because it was the first law Congress had ever passed requiring insurance companies to pay for a specific surgical procedure. Her campaign involved several meetings with President Clinton and Hillary Clinton.

Dr. Horner is a popular radio and television program guest and has appeared on numerous national television shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, FOX and Friends, CNN, and a Healthy You and Carol Alt. She has also been interviewed by Dr. Oz and Dr. Mercola. In February 1999 Glamour magazine honored her as their "WOW--Woman of the Month." In 2000 Oprah recognized her as part of her "Angel Network" on her television program.

In the early 1990s, Dr. Horner became alarmed over the increasing number of very young women she saw in her practice diagnosed with breast cancer. When her own mother was diagnosed and then died from breast cancer, Dr. Horner began an intensive search of the medical literature to find what-if anything-could help prevent breast cancer. What she found was a tremendous amount of little-known research proving that woman can significantly reduce their risk of breast cancer and of most other chronic diseases through natural means: eating the right foods, exercising, sleeping during the ideal hours, and using techniques of Complementary and Alternative. From that moment Dr. Horner incorporated all of these techniques into her own life and then became passionate about teaching others how to stay healthy naturally.

In June 2002, Dr. Horner left her plastic surgery practice so that she could dedicate herself full time to writing and teaching about her passion: prevention-oriented medicine and how to become and stay healthy naturally.

Dr. Horner has received numerous honors including the "YWCA Career Women of Achievement Award" in 1997. In 2001 she was voted by her peers and one of Cincinnati's "Top Docs." She was given the "Trailblazers Award of Excellence in Holistic Alternative Medicine" in 2005. In 2007 she was given the "Life Moxie Award 25 Most Outstanding Women 2007", and named the Girls, Gals, and Gurus "Woman of the Year 2007."

Dr. Horner's first book, Waking the Warrior Goddess: Dr. Christine Horner's Program to Protect Against and Fight Breast Cancer, winner of the 2006 Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY) "Best Book of the Year for Health, Medicine and Nutrition", describes all the research-proven natural approaches-foods, supplements, herbs and activities-that dramatically protect against breast cancer. Its third edition was released in October 2013.

Dr. Horner offers her expertise and straight-forward advice for all De Novo Scan clients by phone or Zoom calls after you receive your thermal scan results.
